First of all, we need to apply some important settings in Nvidia GeForce Experience, for that you need to download and install Nvidia GeForce from here:
Once you are done, you need to apply some settings there to enable Nvidia Studio Driver to optimize it for Creative Apps like Adobe Illustrator.
We need to optimize Adobe illustrator using Nvidia Studio Driver. You need to dive straight into drivers inside Nvidia GeForce Experience. Now you need to install Studio Driver. You can also apply Game Ready Driver but Studio Driver is configured for Creative apps like Adobe Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere Pro, etc.
So, it is recommended to use Studio Drive inside GeForce Experience to optimize creative apps.
Once you have applied all settings, you can find illustrator in your home section, just click on it and click on the button Optimize to automatically optimize illustrator.
Now we are good to go inside Nvidia Control Panel and apply the best settings to customize GPU for illustrator.
First of all, you need to go inside Nvidia Control Panel, and in the left navigation menu select Adjust image settings with preview under 3D settings.
Once you are right inside, you need to select the option Use the Advanced 3D image settings and apply the save changes.
Next, you need to click Manage 3D settings and you will find 2 options Global settings and program settings. I recommend you to select program settings because we are going to apply the Nvidia settings individually, not globally.
Now select your adobe illustrator from the drop-down list under Select a program to customize. If you are not able to find illustrator from the drop-down list then you need to locate the Adobe illustrator and open it inside the Nvidia Control panel directly.
If you are not able to find illustrator from the drop-down list then you need to locate the Adobe illustrator and open it inside the Nvidia Control panel directly. You need to click on add next to the drop-down list and find your program there, if you still cannot find the illustrator then you need to click on browse, next to Can't find the program, and go to the following path and locate Adobe illustrator:
This Pc/Local Disk C/Adobe/Adobe Illustrator/Support Files/Contents/Windows/Adobe Illustrator.exe
Once you are successful in opening the illustrator inside Nvidia Control Panel, you need to apply the custom GPU settings.
All gpu settings cannot be explained here so it is recommended to watch this video and apply all settings accordingly.
Once you have followed all the steps and applied the GPU settings, your Adobe illustrator must be running very smoothly and fast as compared to your previous experience with illustrator.
